Analisis Breath of Fire es un RPG de corte consolero, y por tanto, no aguantaría la comparación con cualquiera de los "monstruos" de pc de la época. No encaja ni con Diablo, ni con la saga Baldur's, ni con Vampire, ni con Ultima Acension, pero no por ello puede dejar de divertir a un jugador no "acomplejado" por los juegos nipones. Si nunca antes has jugado a un género como el de BoF, te puedo decir que sería algo así como una aventura gráfica donde los personajes pueden morir, pero con toques de ROL tradicional, puesto que puedes adquirir armas, ganar experiencia, mejorar ataques y defensa pero en esta ocasión a diferencia de otros juegos similares no hay puzzles, ni tampoco excesivos diálogos, el título se concentra en el avance (bastante lineal) a través de combates, el ingles es muy intuitivo y por estas características no se hace un problema.
